Goshen House provides safe, stable, fully furnished shared housing for seniors, veterans, adults with disabilities, individuals with stable mild mental health needs, and those returning to the community. Residents must have verified guaranteed income, be cognitively aware, able to self-evacuate, and capable of completing most activities of daily living independently or with minimal assistance. Any personal care or supportive services must be provided through an approved third-party provider. Housing includes utilities, furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, household supplies, pest control, and a safe, structured living environment. Monthly housing fees range from $800 for applicants who qualify for our low-income subsidy program to $1,600, depending on eligibility and room type. A one-time $350 community fee applies. Private and semi-private rooms may be available. All applicants are considered individually based on eligibility, safety, and availability.
Applicants must be adults with verified guaranteed income, such as SSI, SSDI, VA benefits, or a pension. Residents must be cognitively aware, ambulatory, able to self-evacuate, and capable of completing most activities of daily living independently or with minimal assistance. Any additional assistance must be arranged through an approved third-party provider. Admission is based on an individual assessment, safety, compatibility, and room availability.
Residents must maintain a clean and safe living space, respect other residents and staff, follow quiet hours, and comply with all household policies. Violence, threats, weapons, illegal drugs, disruptive behavior, and damage to the property are prohibited. All visitors require prior approval, and children are not permitted to visit. Residents are responsible for managing their personal needs and following the complete Resident Handbook.
Goshen House does not directly provide transportation. Transportation may be arranged through independent third-party providers when requested in advance and is subject to provider availability.
